Cats can show signs of hunger in different ways.

Meowing:

Cats may meow more frequently or loudly when they're hungry. The sound of their meow may be more urgent or demanding than usual, and they may follow you around the house to get your attention.

Rubbing against you:

When a cat rubs their head or body against you, it's a sign of affection and trust. However, when they're hungry, they may rub against you more insistently to get your attention and let you know that they need food.

Licking their lips or smacking their mouth:

Cats may also show signs of hunger by licking their lips, smacking their mouth, or drooling. These behaviors indicate that their mouth is watering and they're ready to eat.
